What is Rang? *
Rang exists for everything between “I’m creative” and “I know where I’m going”, because creativity was never meant to come in just one shade.
Creativity isn't one thing, and a creative future doesn't follow one set path. Rang exists to help students explore what's out there, understand where they fit and find a direction that's uniquely theirs.
Our Approach
-
Your path should look like yours. We don't push every student towards the same courses, universities or careers.
-
You don't need to arrive with everything figured out. Exploring, changing your mind and discovering something unexpected are part of the process.
-
Creative applications are different. Our guidance is built around understanding creative education, portfolios and the industries you're working towards.
-
We turn possibilities into a plan. We help you move forward with a clearer understanding of what you're working towards and why.
Why We Exist
Knowing you're creative is the easy part. Knowing what to do with it can be harder.
There are more creative careers, degrees and opportunities than most students ever get exposed to. We experienced that uncertainty ourselves.
As two creatives born and raised in Pakistan, we completed our early education here before pursuing degrees in Design and Architecture in the UK. Drawing from our own experiences of studying creative disciplines abroad, we built Rang to offer students the guidance and perspective we wish we’d had when finding our own paths.
From finding the right field and university to developing your portfolio and applications, we’re here to make the path clearer.

Absolutely! You don't need to have it all figured out before coming to Rang. We help you explore different creative disciplines, understand your interests and strengths, and discover courses and career paths you might not have considered. Finding your direction is part of the process, not something you need to do beforehand.

The earlier, the better! Ideally, you should start exploring ideas and developing projects 6–12 months before your application deadlines. This gives you time to experiment, refine your work and build a portfolio tailored to your chosen courses. Starting later? We can help you make the most of the time you have.
-
No, your portfolio should always be your own work! We guide you through developing projects, exploring ideas, selecting your strongest work and presenting it effectively. Our role is to help you build a portfolio that reflects your creativity, skills and potential, not to create the work for you.
-
Absolutely! We help you explore different creative careers, understand what each involves and discover which paths align with your interests, strengths and goals. Not always! Portfolio requirements vary depending on the university and course. While many creative degrees require a portfolio, others may assess applicants through interviews, written work or other methods. We help you understand the specific requirements of your chosen courses so you know exactly what to prepare.
-
Absolutely! We encourage parents to be involved in the process while ensuring students remain at the centre of their own creative journey.
